Resource transmuting cost calculator

Choose the resource family and inspect the available target tiers and enchantments. A transmutation route combines source resources with silver conversion charges. Buying an apparently cheap lower resource is useful only if the complete conversion remains cheaper than a direct target purchase.

Keep the source and target observations on the same server and the intended market context. This is a resource conversion comparison; it does not use the same return-rate assumptions as refining raw resources into products.

For a hypothetical route, source resources cost 900 silver and two successive conversion steps cost 400 and 700. The target costs 2,000 to obtain, compared with a 2,100 direct offer: a saving of 100. Omitting the intermediate 400-silver step would overstate that saving fivefold.

If the direct offer falls to 1,950, buying becomes 50 silver cheaper. These are illustrative costs, not a current conversion table. Inspect the route’s quantities and charges in AU; a small source-price advantage is easily outweighed by conversion charges.

A route can be cheaper per unit but require several purchases or transport between markets. Compare the full quantity needed at available prices and allow for the time spent on conversions. A missing quote prevents a complete comparison until you supply a verified input.

When adding converted resources to a production plan, count the conversion cost once. Do not charge both the complete transmutation route and another direct purchase of its output. If you intend to sell the resource, subtract selling costs from the sale proceeds separately.
